Been Awhile Since I posted

My general view on the markets is bearish.  Tech is holding up however.  If I were an intermediate term investor say 6 months to 3 years I'd likely use the following allocation:
20% cash or more to put to work at good buying points
25% High dividend stocks
25% Precious metals and miners
25% High growth technology such as Apple, Goog, etc..
5% short U.S. indices

Shorter term I'd likely be 80 to 90% cash

Longer term over 3 years I'd cross out the short above and the cash:
25% High dividend payors
15% Pms and miners
25% High growth technology
25% oil, alt. energy, and biotech
25% Emerging markets and multinationals
